    Identify Your Spiritual Gifts

Crossgate PCA is committed to helping members learn more about how God has equipped them for service in His Kingdom.

The church has arranged for members and regular participants to go through a Spiritual Gifts Analysis on the internet that, through a series of questions, shows you what your gifts are and provides information about the characteristics of those gifts. The questionnaire takes 10-15 minutes. Click here for your Spiritual Gifts Analysis.

Another ministry outreach supported by Crossgate PCA is the Foothills Pregnancy Care Center located in downtown Seneca.

The Center began in 1990 when several individuals felt a burden for the needs of young women facing unplanned pregnancies in desperate situations. Foothills is an affiliate of Care Net, a national organization of crisis pregnancy centers with 670 affiliates in the US and Canada. The center ministers to women from Oconee, Pickens and Anderson County and has met the needs of more than 4300 families since 1990. As a Christian non-profit organization Foothills relies completely on donations, grants, fundraiser's and volunteer efforts.

    Pastor Tom Musselman

If you are visiting this site for the first time, chances are you’re church shopping—trying to find the right church for you and your family. We’re glad you found us, because we’re excited about what God is doing at Crossgate and welcome the opportunity to share it with you.

I invite you to browse our web site to get a better “feel” for who we are, and then encourage you to visit us one Sunday. I have no doubt you will feel welcome and completely at home. I’m also confident that you will find Crossgate to be a church where you will be consistently challenged and nurtured in your faith so as to experience a greater intimacy with the Lord, and hence, a true delight in Him.

We invite you to visit us to see if Crossgate is the church God has for you.

To listen to sermons on line, click on Sermons. Each Sunday's sermon is posted, usually by the following Tuesday.

Tom is currently doing a series of sermons that will take us through Paul’s letter to the Romans, one of the most comprehensive and systematic statements of the Christian faith in the Bible. This study will encourage us to develop a solid spiritual foundation which will enable us to mature in our faith so as to become the man/woman that God wants us to be.

    Building Committee Update for Newsletter

Church Exterior RenderingWe’re all anxious for the building contractor to show up on our property, but have you been watching God at work these last couple of months? Did you notice how our Building for God’s Glory fund more than doubled at the end of 2007? More than a third of the money needed to start construction has already come in! We went from $233,000 at the end of November to more than $500,000 by year’s end. God is good! Not only on the fundraising front, there is still a lot going on “behind the scenes.”

We’ve got a lot of dirt to move and we are currently working on our grading plan and some of the more detailed construction drawings so that we can get a firmer price estimate. We’ve also developed the stewardship plan – finding the right place to put our building funds to maximize our short-term gains, while protecting our assets in a volatile market. Pray for God’s wisdom on all these issues.

The Building Committee wants to encourage everyone in Crossgate’s family to be a part of God’s incredible work. Each of us on the committee has already been blessed just by being a part of this process.Model of new church It’s not too late to make your commitment if you haven’t had a chance to do so. See Bob Brown for an information folder or pick one up from the building display table in the lobby at OCA.

And it doesn’t matter what the size of your gift is – just that each of us listens and follows God’s leading for what He has called us to do. He wants to pour out His blessings through each one of us. Let’s watch God at work as we look forward to the day when we can all rejoice together in our own church home!
