SENIOR PASTOR
David Story
David came to Crossgate in August of 2019 and was installed as Senior Pastor in January of 2022. He grew up in Alabama, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and South Carolina (just over in Six Mile for his high school years), and met his wife, Karen, during college at Florida State University. After seminary at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia and an internship in Marietta, GA, David spent more than a decade working with college students as the RUF campus minister at FSU. During their 15 years in Tallahassee, the Lord blessed them with three children. When David is not at the church, he is probably with his family or neck-deep in a home renovation project, but also jumps at the chance to get outdoors: woods, rivers, lakes, mountains, hiking, biking, running, paddling.
